Foo Hing Dim Sum is a well-known traditional Hong Kong–style dim sum restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. I am mainly responsible for designing monthly static posts, as well as editing pre-recorded videos and creating video covers to maintain the account’s activity and consistency.

Old Template
Initially, I was asked to design based on the templates left by the previous designer. However, I felt that the typography did not visually align with the traditional character of classic Hong Kong dim sum.
New Template
I replaced the original sans font with a more suitable sans-serif typeface to better reflect a traditional aesthetic. In addition, I refined the overall typography and layout, improving visual hierarchy and readability to create a more cohesive and polished design.
Video Cover
Once the photographer completes the video edit, I am responsible for designing the cover. I extract a key frame from the video and develop a template around it to create a consistent and visually engaging cover design.

AI Retouch
When photo quality is limited or suitable images are unavailable, AI-generated visuals are used as supporting assets. I typically generate images using Gemini AI and JiMeng AI, then refine and retouch them in Photoshop to ensure visual consistency and quality.
